COVID Testing continues at Tsewenaldin Inn

Humboldt County offers free COVID-19 testing for the community at the Tsewenaldin Inn parking lot in Downtown Hoopa on Thursday, August 19th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Any subsequent testing on Thursdays will be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm as needed. At the Tsewenaldin Inn, 12482 State Highway 96, in Downtown Hoopa.

COVID Level 3 Order extended

August 23, 2021 - August 27, 2021

The two-week Level 3 Stay At Home Order issued by the Tribal Council on Friday, August 6 has been extended for another week, through Saturday, August 27th. All Tribal departments deemed non-essential are still required to work to the extent that they can do so from home. Boys and Girls Club: Drive-Up Sign-up

CalTrans D2: Hwy 299 Reopening Schedule

State Route 299 is under escorted one-way traffic control from approximately 4 miles west of Burnt Ranch to just west of Helena. Traffic will be escorted through the closure EVERY THREE HOURS between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 am. Opening times are 7:00 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The K'ima:w Behavioral Health office is closed to in person services, limiting all services to virtual appointments, due to the increased number of COVID-19 cases. Don’t Stop On Hwy 96 To Watch McCash Fire

The U.S. Forest Service - Six Rivers National Forest asks motorists to please NOT STOP along Highway 96 to watch firefighting operations at the McCash Fire. Congestion caused by people stopping to watch the fire could hamper firefighting efforts and endanger other drivers, which may make it necessary to close Highway 96. Trinity River Levels Are Raising

Trinity River levels are raising! The Bureau of Reclamation will release water flow from Lewiston Dam for ceremonial activities. Beginning Thursday, September 2nd.
