37th Anniversary!

KIDE-Hoopa, 91.3 FM, Hoopa Tribal Radio in the Greater Hoopa Valley turns 37 years old at 10:00 AM today!
Thank you for using and supporting the efforts of community communication. KIDE is one of sixty-five Native owned or operated Community Radio or Low Power Radio stations. KIDE was the first Native American owned and operated Non-commercial Educational FM station in California, and the first solar powered radio station in California in 2004. KIDE is the first Hoopa Tribal entity to go solar.
Our main objective for our 37th year of operation is to do what we can to improve the Quality of Life in Hoopa Valley. What we do and what the result will be can be measured in behaviors and not in words.
It is a good time to be here. Thank you Hoopa Valley!
