HFRC: Virtual Food Preservation Class

Hupa Family Resource Center is presenting an opportunity for you to learn how to prepare and preserve food using a water bath canner. Classes will be facilitated by master canner Darrell Moon. If you have previously attended a food preservation class you will not be eligible to apply; this allows for other people the opportunity to learn how to preserve their own food. Attending this session you will receive a water bath canner, recipe book, canning kit and jars once training is complete. Class size limited to 15.
The class will be available Via Zoom, Sunday, April 18th from l:00 to 4:00 pm. Limited iPads will be available for use. HFRC still has slots available for this class.
You must pre-register to attend the class. Priority will be given to low income (200% of FPG) individuals and families who reside in the Hoopa Valley. Open to all community members who meet the eligibility criteria.
