KBH: Native Connections Trauma Informed Care Conf

K’ima:w Native Connections presents a Trauma Informed Care Conference via Zoom, Friday, August 20th, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
This is a community conference for Tribal members, organizations that work within Hoopa, neighboring Tribes and community members. Its purpose is to bring knowledge about how trauma affects the workings of our community and ourselves. This conference will include community trainers, TIM panel, and keynote speakers. You can learn what trauma is, how it affects our mental and physical health, what we can do to remedy or soothe reactions from trauma, and plan our next steps together as a community.
