Today, November 29 – Native in the Spotlight: Major Robinson
From designing theme park rides for Disney and Universal Studios to overseeing construction of important tribal buildings in Montana and elsewhere, Major Robinson (Northern Cheyenne)’s career as an architect has a lot of diverse breadth. Along the way he’s been a cultural advisor for the Federal Reserve and an Indian Affairs Coordinator for the state. Hear his perspectives on his life and some ideas on why Native concepts are important for architecture and design.
