Today on Sprouts, the 8th Generation: The Native-Owned Business that’s Breaking Barriers.
Louie Gong is an Inspired Artist and activist from the Nooksack tribe in NW Washington.
He has created the most successful Native American business ever. He’s worked with the Smithsonian, been the focus of a documentary film, featured on major news programs and more. Trevor Collins speaks with Louie about his company, his history and battle against “Native Inspired Art,” as he works to promote and support Inspired Natives. A production of the Pacifica Radio Affiliate Network station KMRE Bellingham, WA. This program repeats at 5:30 PM today.
