Winter Basket Weavers Gathering

You are welcome to the Winter Basket Weavers Gathering today from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Hoopa Elementary School Cafeteria.
Join TANF and the K’im:aw Diabetes Program for this miniature weaving project events: jump dance basket, acorn soup bowl, baby rattle, baby basket, or eel basket. Also a demonstration of spruce root preparation.
Materials will be provided. On a first come first serve basis 15 participants per instructor will attend each mini weaving project. . If all the slots are taken, others are welcome to watch. To apply, pick up an application at the Hoopa TANF Office, 82 Willow Street in Hoopa or K’im:aw Diabetes Program, 535 Airport Road in Hoopa.
