Women of the Land Learning Circle

March 2, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Today at the Tsewenaldin Inn you can join the Learning Circle about improving the land with Livestock. There may be field visits weather permitting. This is the Klamath Trinity Resource Conservation District’s third gathering in a series of women’s Learning Circles being offered in partnership with the Women for the Land Program at American Farmland Trust (AFT). This program aims to support women food producers and agricultural land stewards with accessing resources, knowledge, and networks to enable their success. This event will allow you to reconnect with other women land stewards and producers and support everyone in learning together about cultivating greater food sovereignty in Hoopa. We will discuss ways that raising livestock with a regenerative approach can support the health of the land and bolster food security.
