KYML: Storytelling with Eddie Albers

            
The Kim Yerton Memorial Library hosts a special free event for families, Storytelling with Eddie Albers, Today at 1:30 pm at the Kim Yerton Memorial Library, at the corner of Loop Road and Orchard Street in Hoopa.
Yurok-Hupa-Karuk Storyteller Ernie Albers comes from a long line of traditional storytellers and has been deeply rooted in ceremony and culture from a young age. Ernie takes lessons learned from ceremony and brings them to listeners as stories that relate to life and struggles in today’s world. His tales are fun and invite all ages to take part in thinking about what might happen next, and why.
Ernie will also be appearing at the Willow Creek Library at 10:30 am. The Family Literacy Tour is sponsored by the Humboldt Literacy Project!
