Packets Delivery The US Census will be sending workers to visit each household in Hoopa to deliver 2020 Decennial Count Survey packets. These Census workers will ONLY deliver survey packets, they will not take any information. It will be your responsibility to fill out the survey and return it. These packets will also include your Census ID, which you will need to complete your Census Survey. Patients who prefer to come to Kima:w Medical Center Pharmacy to pick-up medications can do so as long as they're wearing a facial covering, Follow the Six feet social distancing protocol, Use sanitizer at the door and Allow temperature check at the entrance of the clinic. Each pharmacy pick-up window will be disinfected before and after each patient use. The medication delivery option is still available. The Hoopa Fire Department has suspended Dooryard Trash Burning, effective until further notice. No new burning permits will be issued. This means no burn barrel or pile burning until the restriction is formally cancelled. Within Hoopa, Smokehouses are still allowed. Campfires and barbeques are also allowed, with a Campfire Permit. Dream Quest will be having their 2020 Free Summer Lunch Program, Thursdays from Noon to 5:00 pm this Summer at Dream Quest in Willow Creek. Families will be able to pick up a box of food each week. Hupa Family Resource Center in partnership with Food for People providing food and veggie bags for children and youth, up to 18 years old. They must live on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation. No application is required, but there is a limited supply. Parents must provide gender and age of the child (for reporting purposes) and you must be willing to pick up food bags. Hupa Family Resource Center is offering diapers kits to eligible community members. Diaper kits come with diapers and wipes. Family must be low income and meet 200% Federal poverty guidelines and live on the Hoopa Valley Reservation. Diaper kits are available once every 30 days, while supplies last. Hoopa TANF is offering Community Non-Reoccurring Emergency Assistance for those who qualify. This assistance may be provided to eligible needy families to meet extraordinary needs that may arise from an emergency, crisis situation or an episode of need beyond those intended to be covered by regular monthly assistance and/or supportive services.
