KMC Diabetes Building Hoopa, CaThe Hupa Family Resource Center host a Cooking Class today, April 8th at the Diabetes Building. Starting at 10am with Meagan Baldy. There will be a free cooking demonstration and taste testing available for all community members.

Hoopa Tribal Council ChambersThe Hoopa Valley Tribal Council's regular meeting, held tonight in the Council Chambers, starting at 5:30pm. A few items on the agenda are;
To approve the Hoopa Valley Tribal TANF Program 2013-2016 Plan amendment as submitted. - Leslie C.

Orleans Outreach
HCDHHSHumboldt County Department of Health & Human Services Mobile Outreach will be in Orleans at the Post Office on Thursday, April 14th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Visitors to the bus can be assisted with CalFresh, MediCal, In-Home Supportive Services, Veterans Services and Child Support. Humboldt County Mental Health Clinicians will provide on-board counseling and can link clients up with supportive case management. For more information about program services, please call (707) 441-4650.
Ribbon Cutting
Timberidge Apartments, Campbell Field Housing ComplexHoopa Housing Authority will be cutting the ribbon today at 1pm at the new Timberidge Apartments in Campbell Field Housing Complex.
