Weitchpec Outreach

Humboldt County Department of Health & Human Services Mobile Outreach will be at Weitchpec at Yurok Tribal Offices on Tuesday, April 19th from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors to the bus can be assisted with CalFresh, MediCal, In-Home Supportive Services, Veterans Services and Child Support. Humboldt County Mental Health Clinicians will provide on-board counseling and can link clients up with supportive case management. Earth Day

KTRCD Community Garden Hoopa, Ca

The Klamath Trinity Resource Conservation District is having their Annual Earth Day today, you can go enjoy garden activities, games, outreach booths and try out the bike blender. Located at the Community garden from 10-2pm today. Questions call Meagan at 530-515-1106.

ASA Bake Sale

Rays Food Place

Come support our local Hoopa 12u ASA Softball Team at their bake sale today! Starting at 11am until sold out. The Bake Sale will be held in front of Rays Food Place with lots of goodies. All proceeds go towards purchasing the team with quality gear and equipment for this upcoming season.

Flea Market

Moore Ranch Farms Hoopa, CA

Moore Ranch Farms Outdoor Flea Market will be held today, Sunday April 24th. Open from 10am-4pm with free admission. If you have items and would like to purchase a booth call Raven Surber at 707-601-6509. A gardening workshop with mushrooms will also be taking place at the farm from 12-2pm.

Caregiver Meeting

Upriver Caregivers Association Meeting will be held today at the Hoopa College of the Redwoods, Room 3 at 3pm. This meeting is open to all past, present, and future caregivers, foster parents, teachers, medical personnel, ICWA, community members, county worker, and tribal departments, etc. Come offer your ideas and resources, ask questions and more. Dinner & Dance

Willow Creek, VFW Hall

Dream Quests 5th Annual Swing Concert, Dinner and Dance is on Friday, April 29th from 6-9pm, at the Willow Creek VFW Hall. College of the Redwoods Jazz Orchestra will be playing. You can get your tickets at the door or at Dream Quest, you can give them a call at 629-3564.

Prize Bingo

American Legion Hall

The American Legion Hall hosts Prize Bingo today, May 2nd from 6-10pm. Concession stand will be available and lots of prizes. All proceeds go towards the American Legion Hall activities and events.

TEPA Drop Off

Masonite Mill Creek Site on Hwy 96, across from Squires Housing

TEPA is hosting a free white goods and scrap metal drop off event. Open from 9am-12noon closed for lunch and open again from 1pm- 4:30pm. All electric appliances are welcome but must be trash free. Automotive scrap metals with oil residuals are not allowed. Drop off location will me at the Masonite Mill Creek Site on Hwy 96, across from Squires Housing. There is free pick up avail able for elders 65 and older from April 24th to May 4th, you must request pick ups by April 27th. Call TEPA for further details at 625-5515.
