2022 Youth Wellness Summit

The 2022 Youth Wellness Summit “Gathering Youth Matters” is today from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Tish Tang Campground in Hoopa. Please RSVP your spot by contacting Shannon Albers by phone (707) 951-6217 or by email salbers@yuroktribe.nsn.us.
The Gathering of the Youth Summit is to connect youth to wellness resources that embrace indigenous lifeways.
Activities will include Drum Making, Elk Horn Carving, Brush Dance Protocol, Traditional Bear Grass Weaving, and Traditional Story Telling. As well as presentations on Opioid misuse and fentanyl awareness, Sexual Education, Puberty age curriculum, Safe Dating, and Anti-Violence Curriculum. Yurok Health & Human Services look forward to seeing everyone and having an amazing day at Tish Tang. See you there!
