Bear Grass Braiding Class

The TANF Prevention project is offering Bear Grass Braiding classes, open to youth age 10 to 17 years old. You will learn how to braid bear grass and you will make a necklace and/or earrings.
Classes will be at the TANF Prevention Center on Hwy 96 in Hoopa, From 3:00 to 5:00 pm today. Class size is limited to 15 per session. Open to Hoopa TANF participants or Hoopa Valley resident and American Indian, age 10 to 17 years old. You must complete a TANF Prevention project application and waiver form. These may be picked-up from the plastic file box labeled Prevention Projects on the porch at the TANF main office at 82 Willow Street, in the Campus area of Hoopa.
