CDSS: P-EBT Application

P-EBT application is NOW OPEN! Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer is a one-time benefit for families who have lost access to free or reduced-price meals because of closures related to COVID-19. It works the same way Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits do. With a P-EBT card you can buy groceries at most grocery stores, at most farmer’s markets and use Online at Amazon and Walmart. You can use your P-EBT benefits for one year.
Families with children who are eligible for free or reduced- priced school meals and did not already receive their P-EBT card in the mail, must apply before Wednesday, July 15th! Families with children who get CalFresh, Medi-Cal or Foster Care benefits do not need to apply.
