Community Coalition

Today the Hoopa Community Coalition meets in the Hoopa Firehouse Classroom at 6:00pm-6:30pm guest speaker: Erika Tracy; Hoopa Education Director-Trauma Informed Movement.
6:30pm-8:00pm We will all work together and break out into small groups surrounding the seven topics and begin building 90 day plans to address the community concerns….we would like your input. Kimaw Board of Directors is happy to announce that the Coalition has received over $100,000.00 in funding for activities and services.
We will also continue the Wall of Awareness; which is an opportunity to anonymously share with others how Alcohol and Other drugs has affected you or your family or friends.
Dinner will be provided. Please stop by and share your ideas and concerns. At the last meeting we had guest speaker: Anna Owings-Heidrick from DHHS; she provided Narcan training and attendees received nasal spray Naloxone kits.
