Deer Horn Carving Classes

TANF is offering Deer Horn Carving Classes with Robert Super today at the TANF Prevention Office at 119 Hostler Field in Hoopa. Class size is limited to 10 youth per session. Two Sessions will be from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. They have three youth slots available for Saturday, July 29th and 10 youth slots available for Sunday, July 30th.
Contact the Hoopa TANF Prevention office at (530) 625-4571 to pre-register. Youth only need to attend one class to receive an incentive. Each youth will receive a Dremel tool once the 8-hour session is completed. Open to Hoopa TANF participants or Hoopa Valley resident and American Indian, age 10 years and older. You must complete a TANF prevention project application and waiver form.
