Dooryard Burning Suspended

The Hoopa Fire Department has suspended Dooryard Trash Burning, effective  until further notice. No new burning permits will be issued. This means no burn barrel or pile burning until the restriction is formally cancelled.
Within Hoopa, Smokehouses are still allowed. Campfires and barbeques are also allowed, with a Campfire Permit. For a Campfire Permit, call the Hoopa Fire Department at 625-4366 during normal business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. They will gladly fill out one over the phone and meet you at the side door at the Fire Department office on HWY 96 in Hoopa; Please wear a face covering when picking up your permit.
