Firewise Fair &Youth Ecology Day

The Willow Creek Fire Safe Council presents the Annual Community Firewise Fair and Youth Ecology Day, today from 10:00 am to 3:00pm at Veteran’s Park in Willow Creek.
The featured event is the Home Hardening Workshop by Yana Valachovic , UCCE, Humboldt County Director/Forest Advisor. Plus, the chance to meet with Local Agencies like the American Red Cross, Humboldt County Office of Emergency Services, Trinity County Office of Emergency Services, Willow Creek Volunteer Department, Humboldt County Sheriffs Office, Cal Fire, U.S. Forest Service and Dream Quest. You can learn about beneficial fires and evacuation zones.
The Kids’ Activities include a Bounce House, Face painting, A.O’Kay the Clown, Captain Cal and Smokey Bear. There is music, entertainment and food.
