HVT: American Rescue Plan Distribution 2

Regarding the distribution of American Rescue Plan funds to the Hoopa Tribal Membership. These payments are being distributed to tribal members in two separate payments. The first payment of $1,500 for adult, and $700 for Minors went this week of July 12th, for those who submitted their form.
The Hoopa Valley Tribe is currently working hard to distribute Economic Assistance checks as quickly as possible. The volume of phone calls takes time away from verifying address and processing the forms. If possible, please your hold questions until Monday, July 19th, so they have ample time to process the high volume of intake forms received.
A second payment is expected to be made in December. The final deadline to submit your intake form is Friday, December 31, 2021.
Failure to submit prior to the final deadline will make you ineligible for both the first AND second distributions.
