James Ramos, CA Assemblyman, 40th CA District is holding a News session at the CA State Capitol Rose Garden to encourage the passages of AB 338, a bill to replace the Junipero Serra statue that stood on State Capitol grounds until July 2020 with a monument in honor of the Native American tribes of the Sacramento region. The quests will include Jesus Tarango, Chairman of the Wilton Rancheria, Sara Dutschke, Chairwomen of the Ione Band of Miwok Indians, Lloyd Mathiesen, Chairman, Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Mewuk Indians, Michael Hunter Chairperson of the Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians.
