LARGE ITEM DUMP DAY

TODAY MARCH 18TH, 2023
Caltrans, the Hoopa Valley Tribe, and the Mattress Recycling Council are hosting a free large item Dump Day event in Hoopa today. This Dump Day event is part of the governor Newsom’s $1.2 billion initiative. Hoopa Residents are invited to properly dispose of their unwanted, bulky items. This is limited to Tires and Mattresses from, Noon till 4pm., or until capacity is reached at the Hoopa Transfer Station. You can dispose of passenger car and light truck tires (limit 9 per load) and mattresses (limit 6 per load). No business waste is accepted.
