NARCAN training

The Yurok Tribe Wellness Coalition, The California Rural Indian Health Board and other agencies will be hosting NARCAN training, Wednesday, September 29th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Hoopa Shopping Center parking lot, next to Food for People.
Everyone knows someone who uses prescription medications or illicit drugs. They are at risk for an overdose. Learn how to recognize the signs of opioid* overdose and how to stop it. Nasal Narcan reaches the brain in minutes to reverse the effects of opioids**.
