Today, April 26 – Is Twitter worth the trade-off?
Twitter started as a platform to share ideas publicly in real time. Since it was acquired by Elon Musk, it’s become a place for top-down experimentation in falsehoods (labeling NPR as ‘state-affiliated media’) and reopening the floodgates to white supremacists and other hate speech. We’ll hear arguments about whether Twitter retains any value as a credible platform for civil discourse.
