Today, November 3 – The next generation of Indigenous fire practitioners 

Indigenous communities are revitalizing traditional ways of fire management and working with outside state and federal entities to share that knowledge. They’re also sharing that traditional fire knowledge with a new generation of Indigenous fire practitioners who are inheriting some of the worst conditions for destructive wildfires in history. We’ll talk with young Indigenous folks about their mission to work the land like their ancestors did while utilizing modern technology and environmental education.
