Today, December 5 – Making holiday food gatherings safe
It’s the time of year most associated with food: gatherings with family, holiday meals and traditional winter events. A lot of Native home cooks know some basics about keeping bacteria and other pathogens from getting into consumables, but it’s always a good idea to go over safe food prep methods to keep the whole family healthy.
