Salmon Festival
August 17, 2018 - August 18, 2018
The Yurok Tribe is inviting you to the 56th annual Salmon Festival, today in beautiful Klamath, CA. Don’t miss this opportunity to come together and celebrate the Klamath River. This family-focused event is free and open to all. The Festival features live music, games for kids and high quality gifts and sweet treats sold by more than a 100 vendors. There’ll be a Classic Car Show, a parade and cultural demonstrations. Fresh Klamath River Salmon, cooked the traditional way, will also be served.
The main Salmon Festival events begin on Saturday with a Klamath Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Veteran’s Breakfast at 7:30am at the Klamath Community Center, followed by the annual parade at 10:30am. Indian Card Games and Stick Game Tournaments will be going on throughout the day.
