Story Teller @ Library

Today at the Kim Yerton Memorial Library Ernie Albers Story Teller, member of the Yurok Tribe and descendant of the Karuk and Hupa tribes. Ernie comes from a long line of traditional story tellers and is deeply rooted in ceremony and culture from a young age. He utilizes storytelling to relate them to life and obstacles in today’s world while also making the fun and interactive.
This event is made possible by Humboldt Literacy Project, Humboldt County Library and First 5 Humboldt. If it is raining, the event may move to the Hoopa Elementary School, as classroom students will attend.
