Tribal Elders Vaccination offer

Tribal elders 75 years of age and older, who are patients at K’ima:w Medical Center and would like to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine, should call the front desk number at 625-4261 extension 0259 for Acorn Team, extension 0221 for Riverducks Team or extension 0325 for no team or need to register. Appointments will be scheduled for Monday to Wednesday, January 4th through 6th, and possibly Saturday, January 2nd, depending on staffing availability.
Enrolled tribal elders age 75 and older are prioritized; Spouses of tribal elders age 75 and older are eligible for vaccination, regardless of tribal affiliation; Vaccinations for tribal elders age 65 and older; persons age 18-64 with high-risk medical conditions; and essential workers (not frontline) are expected to begin late next week.
Each appointment will last approximately 30 minutes. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete your paperwork. Poor weather is expected, so dress accordingly to stay warm. All persons requesting a vaccination should wear layers to give provider easy access to the injection site on the shoulder.
COVID-19 vaccination is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended.
