WINTER BASKET WEAVERS GATHERING

TODAY FEBRUARY 18TH, 2023
Today February 18th, In the Hoopa Valley Elementary School Cafeteria the Winter Basket Weavers Gathering takes place from 9am. – 4:30pm. Join TANF and the K’im:aw Diabetes Program for this miniature weaving project events: jump dance basket, acorn soup bowl, baby rattle, baby basket or eel basket. Also a demonstration of spruce root preperation. Meals will be provided. On first come first serve basics15 participants per instructor will attend each mini weaving project. if all slots are taken other are welcome to watch. To apply pick up a application at the Hoopa TANF Office. 82 Willow Street in Hoopa or K’im:aw Diabetes Program. 532 Airport Road in Hoopa.
