	Humboldt County Board of Supervisors at an official meeting during an annual Sunshine Week was the first Governing Body to declared Native Media Day as the last Thursday of the Month of September.
	The Hoopa Valley Tribal Council is the Trust holder of the KIDE FCC License on behalf of the Hoopa Valley Tribal Members 18 years of age and older. HVTC is also the acknowledge Board of Directors of KIDE, Non-Commercial Education FM radio station.
	Pacifica Radio Foundation, KIDE became an Affiliate of Pacifica in 2003 at the Grassroots Radio Conference in Moab, Utah hosted by KZUM-FM. At that time KIDE became the first radio station to carry Democracy Now! in Humboldt County.
	Native Voice 1, KIDE has been affiliated with NV-1 since its inception when it launched in 1995 as the American Indian Radio on Satellite, AIROS, with its own channel on the NPR, Public Radio Satellite Service. Later the Koahnic Broadcasting Company, Anchorage, AK was transferred the channel in 2014, changing the service to Native Voice-1
	The Association of Affiliates emerged as an official seated body in 2022 for the Pacifica Radio Affiliates a 235-station membership group who are a separate body from the Pacifica Radio Foundation proper. KIDE-FM holds a seat on the AOA Board of Directors.
