“Tyranny of Moths” is the title of our August 2011 Poetry Basket, a reading of all native writers as a tribute to the dances this month. With one exception — a reading from Ishi, A Biography of the Last Wild Indian in North America. Ishi was written by Theodora Kroeber, wife of anthopologist Alfred Krober who studied Pacific Northwest tribes.
