HVPUD: Scrap Metal Free Drop-Off Event

Hoopa PUD in Coordination with TEPA and AmeriCorps is hosting a COVID-19 Relief White Goods and Scrap Metal Free Drop-Off Event, today, 9:00 am to Noon and 1:00 to 4:30 pm at the Masonite Mill Creek Site on Highway 96, Across from Squires Housing in Uptown Hoopa.
This Event is limited to Hoopa Tribal Members ONLY.
White Goods are defined as: Washers, Dryers, Refrigerators, Freezers, Cook Stoves/Ranges, Electric Dishwashers and Water Heaters. WHITE GOODS MUST BE EMPTY & FREE OF TRASH! If they have trash in them, they will be turned away!
They are Accepting ALL Scrap Metal Types at the Event. Metals NOT ALLOWED are those with oil residuals (automotive transmissions, oil containers, etc.) And NO E-WASTE will be accepted.
